treeger 1.6 Release Notes
SVG artwork previews, ZIP archive browsing, device-storage usage, and Android Open with support in treeger 1.6.
treeger 1.6 makes more of the files on your device immediately useful. Browse archive contents, recognise SVG artwork, see device-storage usage at a glance, and move between treeger and other apps with Android’s familiar Open with flow.
Highlights
Preview SVG artwork
-
SVG files now show a rendered preview in treeger’s browsing surfaces.
-
Artwork stays proportionate and transparent padding is trimmed where possible, so logos and illustrations are easier to recognise in a list or grid.
Browse ZIP archives safely
-
Open ZIP files to inspect folders and entries without extracting first.
-
Password-protected ZIP archives prompt for their password when required.
-
Extract the full archive or a selected entry into a folder you choose. treeger blocks unsafe archive paths before anything is written.
Understand device storage
-
The Device Storage card now reflects the device’s current free and used space.
-
Its summary also states how many folders and files are available to browse.
Open files where you need them
-
Select one eligible file in treeger and choose Open with to use another installed app, while preserving treeger’s own image and ZIP experiences for normal taps.
-
Treeger now appears in Android’s Open with chooser for images and ZIP files, then opens the selected item in its image viewer or ZIP browser.
