treeger 1.5 Release Notes
Unified search, uniform sorting, smarter Recents, and reliable content sources in treeger 1.5.
treeger 1.5 makes browsing feel consistent across Explorer and Spaces. Search and filters now work as one control, sorting behaves uniformly wherever you browse, and Recents offers the same practical navigation and file-management tools as the rest of the app.
Highlights
Search and filters work together
-
Search now opens its field and filters together, with one shared state and a clear way to return to normal browsing.
-
Searches started from Home default to Device Storage, so results are not limited to the last folder you visited.
-
Explorer, content Spaces, and Recents share the same search and sort controls.
Sort consistently in every Space
-
Explorer, content Spaces, and Recents now present Name, date, Size, and Type sorts consistently in List and Grid views, with clear section titles that stay visible while you browse.
-
Recents reflects the time a file was used or added, making its date-based ordering and sections meaningful for each tab.
-
Metadata adapts to the current sort so each row or card shows information that adds context rather than repeating the current sort.
-
Explorer empty-search results are centered, image thumbnails reach the edge of their cards, and loaded APK icons no longer carry an extra preview backdrop.
Do more from Recents and previews
-
Recent files support selection-based rename, copy, move, delete, share, Properties, and Show in folder actions.
-
Newly added files remain discoverable with a return-to-new-items control in Recents and Home.
-
Mixed file collections support peek navigation. Files without a supported preview clearly offer an Open with action instead.
-
Tapping a list thumbnail opens Properties across Explorer, content Spaces, and Recents; selection-mode taps continue to select files.
Google Play "What’s new"
Version 1.5 makes browsing more consistent. Search and filters now work together, and sorting behaves uniformly across Explorer, Spaces, and Recents. Recents adds more file actions and clearer new-item navigation, while mixed files can be previewed or opened with another app. Content sources are also more reliable.
