treeger

Browse, organise, find, and view files on Android with a customisable local-first home screen.

treeger is a local Android file manager for browsing, organising, and viewing files on your device. It combines conventional folder navigation with a home screen shaped around the locations and files you use.

Current functionality

  • Browse internal storage through hierarchical folders or the content-oriented Gallery and Documents spaces.

  • Return to recently used files and pin frequently used folders to Home.

  • Search the current folder, its descendants, or internal storage with type, date, and size filters.

  • Switch between list and grid views, use image thumbnails, and sort files by name, date, size, or type.

  • Create folders, rename files or folders, share files, and inspect item properties.

  • Copy or move selections with progress, cancellation, destination browsing, and explicit conflict handling.

  • Move local files and folders to a reversible Trash before permanently deleting them.

  • Choose between Canopy and Bloom identities, show hidden files, and configure Trash retention.

treeger stores pins, history, preferences, and file-operation state on the device. It does not provide accounts, cloud sync, analytics, or advertising.
