The application now uses Material 3 components and a complete, purpose-built colour system in both light and dark mode.

Strong colours are reserved for meaningful actions and selections, while quieter surfaces make navigation and settings easier to scan.

Text, icons, controls, borders, and selected states use clearer contrast and semantic colour roles.

The editor now uses a calm document canvas instead of appearing like a large filled form or dialog overlay.

Source text, cursor, handles, and selection colours remain readable in light and dark mode.

Editing behaviour and document persistence remain unchanged.

Choose between System, Paper, Sepia, and Dark document themes independently of the application theme.

Paper is now the default reader theme for new installations.

Preview colours cover prose, headings, links, code, quotations, tables, and dividers as one coordinated reading system.

Printed and PDF output always uses a legible white-paper palette, regardless of the selected reader theme.

Settings retains a compact inline reading sample for quick adjustments.

A new action opens a representative AsciiDoc sample in the normal full-screen preview, where themes can be checked with realistic headings, lists, code, quotations, and tables.

Returning from the sample restores the previous Settings position, making comparisons quicker.

AsciiDoc files incorrectly labelled as generic binary files by a document provider can now be selected and opened when their filename has a supported extension.

Files opened from another file manager now request editing access when Android initially grants read-only access, instead of failing with a permission-denied message.

Generated tables of contents no longer show unwanted list bullets.

The app now targets current Android platform requirements.
