treeger 1.2 Release Notes
Direct drag transfers, swipe-to-delete, clearer destination browsing, expandable sections, and reliable Pins in treeger 1.2.
treeger 1.2 adds faster, touch-first ways to organize files and folders. You can now drag a selection directly to a folder or ancestor breadcrumb, swipe a List row to delete it, and use destination browsing that keeps Pins, folders, and folder creation close at hand.
Highlights
Drag selections directly to a destination
-
In Explorer List or Grid, press and drag an active selection onto a visible folder or ancestor breadcrumb.
-
Hold over a folder or breadcrumb for 1.2 seconds to enter it without ending the drag. Moving near an Explorer edge scrolls the folder contents, while breadcrumb edges scroll long paths horizontally.
-
A visible drag preview stays above the finger, and the current destination uses a clear highlighted state.
-
Release to choose Copy here, Move here, or Cancel in one destination sheet. Existing conflict handling remains available when names already exist.
-
Cancel restores the source selection. After a successful operation, the items created in the destination remain selected so an accidental drop can be corrected immediately with another drag.
Swipe to delete
-
Swipe a supported file or folder from right to left in List view to open treeger’s Delete confirmation.
-
Trash rows provide the same gesture for Delete forever and retain the permanent deletion warning.
-
Swipe deletion stays unavailable while a selection or copy/move operation is active, preventing the gesture from conflicting with those workflows.
Browse copy and move destinations
-
Destination browsing now presents Pins and folders as separate, alphabetically sorted sections.
-
Both starter Pins and folders pinned by you are available as destinations.
-
Create a folder without leaving the copy or move workflow, then use it as the destination.
-
The Operation Shelf remains available for carrying selections, monitoring progress, cancelling work, and resolving conflicts.
Keep browsing organized
-
Grouped sections outside Home now have chevrons for expanding or collapsing their contents.
-
Spaces, Explorer, destination pickers, and Settings provide one top-bar action to expand or collapse all sections when several groups are present. About uses the same expandable section pattern for its grouped content.
-
Explorer and content Spaces keep approximately the same scroll position when a successful operation refreshes the visible contents.
Use dependable Pins
-
Pins use the folder’s actual name, including Download and Camera for the supplied locations.
-
Opening a deeply nested Pin now shows its complete storage path in the breadcrumbs.
-
Pins follow folders renamed or moved with treeger, including folders whose names contain spaces.
-
The not-found warning is reserved for folders that were deleted or are no longer available.
Google Play "What’s new"
Version 1.2 makes file operations faster. Swipe left in List view to delete, or drag selected items directly onto a folder or ancestor breadcrumb to copy or move them. Destination browsing now separates Pins and folders, supports folder creation, and keeps sections organized. Pins retain full paths and follow folders renamed or moved with treeger, while refreshed screens keep their position.
