Navigation, editing, preview customization, and reliability improvements in asciitor 1.2.
asciitor 1.2 makes it easier to move around the app, work safely with local documents, and tailor the preview for comfortable reading.
Highlights
Easier navigation

A new navigation drawer provides direct access to Home, Settings, and About.

Navigation now follows the expected Android back-stack behavior.

New and Open actions are easier to reach from the document home screen.
A more comfortable preview

Choose a preview font that suits your reading style, including Atkinson Hyperlegible, Source Sans, Literata, and Fraunces.

Adjust preview text size, alignment, and line spacing.

Use the reading sample in Settings to see changes before returning to a document.

App interface text now follows the device’s configured typography where supported.
Safer editing

Unsaved documents are marked with a superscript asterisk beside the filename.

Leaving a document with unsaved changes now asks for confirmation, including when using Android’s back gesture.

The editor remains visible when the on-screen keyboard is open.
Clearer document support
The system file picker now focuses on the formats supported by asciitor:

Unsupported selections are rejected with a clear message before asciitor reads the file.
Interface polish and reliability

The document app bar is cleaner, with an icon-based Save action and a compact unsaved-change indicator.

Switching between Edit and Preview no longer causes the tab bar to flash or disappear.

Preview loading and document navigation have been made more consistent.

Internal build and lint checks were improved to help keep future releases reliable.
