Money O Money Privacy Policy

Money O Money does not require a Sysout account, does not link directly to your bank account, does not show ads, and does not sell your personal or financial data.

The app does not use a developer-operated analytics service, advertising SDK, crash-reporting service, cloud account service, or financial-data backend.

Money O Money uses Google ML Kit Text Recognition for on-device OCR. Google documents that ML Kit Android SDKs can collect limited technical information, such as device and application information, per-installation identifiers, performance metrics, API configuration, event types and error codes, for diagnostics and usage analytics. Google states that this technical data is encrypted in transit and is not shared with third parties.

When you choose a bank or credit-card statement, Money O Money reads and parses the PDF on your device. The app may store the selected statement’s extracted text and structured details, accounts and cards, transactions, categories, merchant information, review state, saved insights and other information needed to provide its financial-management features.

Statement parsing, transaction processing and normal financial analysis are performed locally. Money O Money does not intentionally upload your selected statement PDF, extracted statement text, transaction descriptions, balances or other financial contents to Sysout servers.

Money O Money can use an optional Gemma model for local transaction categorization and related processing. If you choose to download that model, the app connects to Hugging Face to obtain the model file. The download request may disclose ordinary network information, such as your IP address, to that host under its own privacy practices.

The model download does not include your statement files or transaction data. After the model is installed, model-assisted categorization runs on your device.

Money O Money includes an optional Family feature for sharing supported app data between participating devices. Nearby-device discovery and transport use Google Nearby Connections, which can use Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy and Wi-Fi to discover, connect to and exchange data directly with nearby devices.

When you create or join a Family and use sync, household membership information and eligible Money O Money records may be transferred to another participating device. Money O Money does not route those records through a Sysout-operated server.

Family sync is optional. If you do not create or join a Family, your Money O Money records remain local to the device apart from Android backup behavior described below.

Family pairing and sync may require Bluetooth and nearby Wi-Fi permissions. On Android versions where Nearby Connections requires it, Android may also ask for location permission for nearby-device discovery.

Money O Money uses these permissions to discover and communicate with nearby Family devices. The app does not use them to build a location history or send your location to Sysout.

If you allow notifications, Money O Money may show local status notifications, including a foreground notification while Family sync is available or active. Android and your lock-screen settings control who can see notification content.

Money O Money stores its working data in Android app-private storage. Other apps do not receive access to that data through Money O Money unless you explicitly use a supported sharing or Family-sync feature.

Depending on your Android and backup settings, Android or your selected backup provider may back up app data. Money O Money does not operate or control those backup services.

You can remove locally stored Money O Money data by clearing the app’s storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app. Android may later restore backed-up data according to your device and backup settings.

Money O Money is a general-purpose personal and household finance application and is not directed to children.
